Just because a crew is working a private or corporate jet, doesn’t guarantee these passengers will behave any better than commercial flight passengers. Corporate flight attendant Stefany DiManno Ceccato (founder of DMC Travel Tailor) said, “I once had a passenger stick his finger up his nose and pick it while I was asking him a question! He also happens to be a celebrity in the news right now for making advances at women in the film industry.”

So, most flight attendants on commercial flights are not actually allowed to accept any tips from passengers. However, there is something passengers can do if they really appreciated their crew and had a great experience. Passengers can personally write to the airline and mention their extraordinary flight attendant. In fact, many companies have incentive programs, so they reward their employees when they get praised and singled out for excellent customer service.
