On A Personal Level
The actress said, “So I feel that I helped change that… There’s this big scope of what’s going on, and then there’s me personally. So when someone says to me personally, ‘Do you prefer being thin?’ I do, because it makes my life easy.” Sadly, this sort of stigma about weight gain and loss is nothing new.
She Did Not Deserve It
We do not think anyone else would know this better than Kirstie Alley herself. In 2009, she shared, “This [paparazzo] said to me, ‘Fat ass, turn around so I can shoot you’… I’ve hated myself. You beat yourself up.” No matter her size, we daresay that some people owe her apologies. After all, no one deserves to be treated like that for any reason whatsoever.
