Matthew Bailly is a retired police officer. Despite this, the two men still had plenty of things in common. It was always awesome to meet another policeman, especially when it happens on the job on a normal day. The older man started telling Michael that he used to work for the force in a different city, not that far from there. It was around 40 miles away from where they currently were to Piscataway. After hearing this piece of information, Michael had no idea what would come next.

They started to speak about random things about their lives as well. In the beginning, they merely talked about their jobs. They discussed what it was like to be a policeman and the unbelievable things they dealt with. This was the moment the history of this driver began to unfold. Michael did not recognize him, so he asked if he worked in the same town he did. Apparently, he did not. In fact, Michael was shocked when he heard where Matthew came from.
