When WWE wrestler Dave Bautista was cast for the role of Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, we were all a bit confused. Bautista had to go to acting classes, but at least he could do all his own stunts, right?
Wrong. Even though Bautista came from the wrestling world, the directors still had Robert de Groot stand-in for his stunts.
Stunt doubles just have to look like the actors. There are no rules saying that they need to be close in age or gender.
