He Slayed At His Bar Mitzvah
Drake’s friends and family have stated he totally killed it at his Bar Mitzvah. He recreated the event for his “HYFR” music video. He even called it his “re-bar mitzvah” because he recreated so much of the original ceremony. He stated, “I have some of my mother’s friends, some of my friends” seated in a Miami synagogue for the video. “Stunna Man and Khaled had to come and show their support. I learned my Torah portions; they had to come hear me read it,” Drake explained.

7 Years On Degrassi
Drake starred on the Canadian show Degrassi for 7 years between 2001 and 2009. He began to play “Wheel Chair Jimmy Brooks” when he was just 15 years old. He appeared in 138 episodes and snagged many honors for his role including a 2002 Young Artist Award for best ensemble in a TV series. In his most recent music video for the song “I’m Upset,” he staged an epic Degrassi reunion with the cast! It is super cool and we highly recommend checking it out!
