In August 2008, talk show host, comedian, writer, and LGBT activist Ellen Lee DeGeneres married Portia de Rossi, an actress. Since 2004, Portia and Ellen have been dating, but it wasn’t until California overturned the gay marriage law that they became involved. In 1997, DeGeneres came out as gay, sparking an almost cult-like interest in tabloids that quickly stunned her career. DeGeneres has written four publications, and she explained in Love, Ellen, DeGeneres, how the media coverage of her personal orientation led her into depression. Portia DeGeneres hasn’t appeared in any recent TV shows or films, but her last most notable guest roles were in the TV Shows Scandal and Santa Clarita Diet.

Sam Elliott – Katharine Ross
The relationship between Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross dates back to the late ’70s! They first became acquainted when Ross starred in the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. When Elliott had a very tiny role, she was the star, and they didn’t even share any scenes together. In 1978, when the film The Legacy was filmed, their paths crossed again. At the time, Katharine was going through her 4th marriage, but despite that, their romance grew. In 1984, they were married, just four months before she saw herself giving birth to Cleo Rose Elliott, their only child. That couple is still going strong!
