Jonna tried to keep busy by doing laundry. David still wasn’t home when the clothes dryer finished its cycle. Instead of putting it through another cycle and folding the clothes as she usually would, she made a decision right then and there. She decided to fold the clothes while they were warm as a way to cool herself down. Nonetheless, as she was taking each piece out of the dryer, her mind was still on the absence of David.
