Kristy McNichol – Now
Towards the end of the ‘70s, McNichol continued to have a rise in popularity when she landed a part in the film Little Darlings, which also starred Cynthia Dixon, Matt Dillon, and Tatum O’Neal. McNichol also appeared alongside Dennis Quaid and Mark Hamill in The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia. A year later, she appeared in Neil Simon’s Only When I Laugh, and received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In addition, she joined the Empty Nest cast, but left after a number of seasons, only to come back for the final episode of the show in 1995. While she stopped making on screen appearances after that, she continued to lend her voice to the animated series Invasion America and Extreme Ghostbusters.

Adam Rich – Then
Most know Adam Rich for playing the youngest son, Nicholas Bradford, on the television show Eight Is Enough, which ran from 1977 to 1981 for five seasons. His bowl haircut made him immediately recognizable and inspired many parents to get their children the same cut. His role became so iconic that he was dubbed “America’s little brother.” Sadly, going into the ‘80s, he got into a rough spot in life and was out of the spotlight for good.
