As the host of the Emmy Awards in 2008, Heidi Klum got all dressed up. The model, however, fell in the middle of a skit that could have still used some work. It involved pretending to faint and fall into the arms of her co-host Tom Bergerson. The error happened because he did not hold out his arms and catch her in time. She fell hard onto the stage with nothing to ease the drop. We are sure that she wound up with bruises not just on her torso and arms but also on her ego. Ouch.

In 2006, Jennifer Garner was on the stage at the Academy Awards to announce the Best Soundtrack category winner. All of a sudden, she wobbled and nearly fell over as she walked towards the mic. Her heel got caught in her Michael Kors gown! She made a funny facial expression, which we can forgive since she nearly fell flat on her face. It was a good thing that this happened at a significant event in the industry. With all the excitement about the awards, most people went on to forget about it. Whew.
