Alhanna’s pregnancy was going well and she couldn’t wait to experience motherhood at last. This was something she has been looking forward to for such a long time. She felt like it was all a dream.

She may have felt great, but Keola’s behavior kept becoming more and more strange. She became more attached and acted as if she was seriously concerned for her pregnant owner even though she had no reason to be.

Thinking it was just a phase, Ricky and Alhanna ignored their dog’s strange behavior. They hoped it would go away on its own. However, Keola’s behavior didn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.

Keola kept hovering around Alhanna for significant amounts of time. She seemed to be gently protective of her owner. So much so that she couldn’t leave her side.
