Initial Nerves
Initially, Alhanna and Ricky were nervous about how Keola would react to Lincoln and how much time they should let them spend together. She’s heard stories about dogs that became jealous and possessive when a new baby was welcomed into the family, and she desperately hoped Keola wouldn’t react that way.
Initial Nerves
They made sure to keep an eye on Keola while she was near the baby, but as it turns out she was fully capable of being good with Lincoln. It was clear she loved him just as much as a sibling would love their brother or sister.
Happy Friends
Another great thing was that the baby wasn’t scared of Keola at all. He would always fall asleep easily when she was nearby. Keola even loved giving Lincoln little kisses when he was sleeping.

She acted as if the baby was her own puppy. All this was thanks to Keola for warning Alhanna of the danger she was in when she was pregnant. Who knows what would have happened if she hadn’t warned them?
