Now, Brian Stelter may have had his own thoughts about Carlson and MSNBC but Tucker Carlson felt differently. Carlson spoke about his feelings toward MSNBC, saying that the network had changed a ton and “they didn’t have a role for me.” Just where would Carlson wind up after this? You guessed it. Fox News.

May 2009 is when Tucker Carlson was brought on as a Fox News contributor. Although he was already a frequent guest panelist for some of their late-night satire shows like Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld and Special Report with Bret Baier. Moreover, Carlson was a substitute host for Hannity in Sean Hannity’s absence. This was just the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship, much to some people’s dismay.
