Erin Burnett, Maryland Native, has a wide array of skills that lead to her success in news anchoring. She studied political science and economy at Williams College in Massachusetts. After graduating, she was a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs and began working for CNN as a booker and writer for popular programs. After this, Burnett served as vice president of CitiMedia. Erin Burnett was then employed by CNBC before returning to CNN. She now has her own prime time news program on CNN, “Erin Burnett OutFront”.

Steve Kroft- $5 million
You may know Steve Kroft as one of the news correspondents on CBS’s “60 Minutes”, which wouldn’t be surprising as he’s been working on the show since 1990! Kroft has a degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. He first got his journalism career started in 1971 while he was working as a reporter at a television station in Syracuse. Kroft first joined the CBS team in 1980 working as a news reporter and has since won awards for his work, such as his 1992 Peabody Award.
