She was employed by a few other television stations in Charleston, South Carolina, one of which includes WCBD-TV, where she worked as a morning news anchor and crime reporter. While there, her reports on the lenient police approach to DUI cases led to a state-wide investigation that resulted in authorities being more strict with these cases. She also worked in Miami, Florida before securing herself a job on Access Hollywood, where she worked from 1996-2009. Today, she works as a special correspondent on Entertainment Tonight.
