1997 Daewoo Nubira
Don’t remember the Daewoo Nubira? Don’t worry, we don’t blame you. The 1997 vehicle is another car executed by companies joining forces; and yet again, we are left with a very underwhelming result. With a weak inline 4-cylinder engine, plastic interior and an awful build quality to go with it, this car checks absolutely none of our boxes.
Sir Vival
During the 1950’s, Detroit was a very unsafe city, so a concept car was created as a response and hopeful answer to the problem. The car included innovative safety features for the era like seat belts, and innovative features for the century like a roller cage, sliding doors, rubber bumpers, and side lights. Although it never made it to the production stage, the creators of the Sir Vival described the vehicle as a “revolutionary vehicle”. Besides all of these incredibly unique features, the most notable has to be the 2-part frame and the strange lookout tower. This is another example of a great idea that turned into a major fail thanks to poor execution.
