The NFWS is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting sick and injured foxes throughout the United Kingdom. The organization treats wild foxes and has facilities for those who are unable to be rehabilitated. The charity was clearly the best hope for helping Mcgettrick’s fox “pups” at the time.

Easily Mistaken As Puppies
“Beccie advised us that they had been taken to a rescue center in Liverpool mistakenly as puppies, not fox cubs,” the NFWS explained. It was an easy mistake to make because the puppies were so young. After all, fox babies don’t get their distinctive red fur until they’re a little older.
