As she waited, it dawned on her that the baby was on its way. She could tell that she would not make it to the hospital fast enough to deliver the child. She called her husband, but they did not know what to do about the situation. They rang up the doctor and 911. A police officer was sent her way to help with the delivery of the baby. As soon as he was notified of a young lady called Karen in need of help, Matthew eventually made his way over to the location at Poe Place. All of his instincts kicked in as he got to the small road in order to help as much as he possibly could. Karen was a young married woman who had been pregnant for around 39 weeks at the time. She went into labor without expecting it, but her husband was not around. The only thing he could do was to contact the police and ask for help.
