It turns out that easyJet has plenty of odd stories like this one. Another one claims that the airline forgot to board 29 passengers on a Malaga-Bristol flight. The passengers were still waiting to board when they were notified that their plane had already taken off.

Their luggage was already in the hold when the plane left. One passenger, 58-year-old Lain Locke said that the group was “trapped” in the corridor at the boarding gate. “The stairwell was full, and people were getting on the plane, but then boarding seemed to stop,” he said.
