Snapping Out Of The Trance
Miller, like every other responsible pet owner, was worried about Crosby. In despair, he stroked the puppy; this was the first time Crosby had snapped out of a trance-like mind. Boy, what is it? He asked the dog as he looked into those gigantic eyes. Miller was just pleased to see that everything was all right for Crosby. Maybe he’d been looking at a moth. It turned out to be much greater than that in the end!
There Was Something Off
For the rest of the night, Crosby behaved like his usual self. Miller got up around midnight and went for a glass of water in the kitchen. He found as he walked past the living room, that the dog was there again! He may also suggest, though, that there was something distinct about this moment. When he stared at the very same place on the living room wall, Crosby seemed much sadder.
