Off The Radar
When Karen got back from the hospital, she dived back into where she left off. She did not bother to get some rest before going back to work! Aside from returning to the recording studio, she did not shy away from the limelight. In fact, she made an appearance during the 25th year celebration of the Grammy Awards held on January 1, 1983. No one knew it then but it was the last time she would be seen in public.

Earlier in her career, Karen talked about how she was not searching for a relationship because she knew her schedule would make dating difficult. Besides, it must have been difficult to find someone while working in the industry. Regardless, it did not mean that Karen wanted to be alone forever. As a matter of fact, her friends reported that she wanted a husband and a family.
